The request
The customer wanted a new ceiling fan installed.
Work completed
- Assemble the fan: The motor, blades and light kit are assembled on the ground first — easier and safer than working overhead.
- Mount & connect: The fan is hung on a fan-rated box, connected, and the canopy closed up.
- Balance & test: Blades are balanced and every speed tested so it runs quietly.

Why a fan-rated box matters
A ceiling fan is heavier than a light fixture and it moves. It must hang from a box rated for fans — we check that on every ceiling fan installation.
